Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Magnowlia platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Magnowlia is an AI-powered analytics platform that allows you to connect data warehouses and semantic layers, ask questions in natural language, and receive AI-generated insights including SQL queries, charts, tables, and written analysis. The Service is provided by Magnowlia AB (org. nr 559452-2194), Tegnérgatan 35, 111 61 Stockholm, Sweden.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at hey@magnowlia.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Admin accounts have access to configure data sources, manage users, and adjust settings. You are responsible for ensuring that access within your organisation is granted appropriately.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to access or analyse
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent

5. Data Ownership

Your data is yours. You retain all rights to the data you connect to Magnowlia and the content you create within the Service. Magnowlia does not store your raw data -- queries are executed directly against your data sources.

You grant Magnowlia a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service, including sending your queries to AI providers for analysis.

6. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses artificial intelligence (including models from OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate SQL queries, insights, charts, and written analysis. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated output may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated output before relying on it for business decisions.

Magnowlia provides full traceability for every answer -- including the generated SQL, queried data, and semantic definitions used -- so that you can verify results independently.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, algorithms, documentation, and branding, is owned by Magnowlia AB and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Pricing and Payment

The Service is offered under Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans as described on our pricing page. Prices are stated in euros (EUR) and exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated.

• The Free plan is available at no charge with the stated usage limits.
• Pro plan fees are billed monthly. Usage beyond included allowances is charged as described in the plan details.
• Enterprise plans are subject to a separate agreement.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect the current billing period.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. Enterprise customers may have specific service level agreements (SLAs) as part of their separate contract.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Magnowlia AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Magnowlia in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Magnowlia AB from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hey@magnowlia.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data and stored credentials within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Your connected data sources are not affected -- Magnowlia never stores your raw data.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by placing a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
